unblocking your authenticity

a progressive space to learn balance and create change

In person and online counselling in New Westminster

I support people who feel stuck or boxed in by societal expectations and want to live in alignment with anti-oppressive values. I work collaboratively with individuals who want to understand themselves, find a sense of purpose, and balance their own care with their care for others.

Understanding and acknowledging systemic barriers can allow us to recognize what we might be coming up against while we are trying to make a change. I work from an intersectional feminist, queer, and trauma informed lens. Specifically, this can emphasize boundary work, self-compassion, parts work, and trauma processing through EMDR. I have personally gone through many changes in my life and have benefited from using these practices and identifying my own unhelpful patterns.

I am a white, queer, second-generation settler to the lower mainland of BC. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (#10004680) with a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology (Adler University, 2018). I have been working in the non-profit sector seeing counselling clients since 2017.

Have you been thinking that you want to understand yourself better?  Do you want to let go of external expectations?  Maybe you know something needs to change but are unsure how to make it happen?

I love supporting people who are feeling the need to make a change or are not sure of their next steps.  Together, we can work with the internal parts and external systems and stressors that hold us back and have us feeling stuck.

We can work together to create a life that matches your values.
